What you’ll need to make this loose jumpsuit
- 3 meters of fabric
- matching thread
- pins
- measuring tape
- scissors
- sewing machine
See below the pattern for this project
1. Begin by tracing your pattern to your fabric, then cut the panels out. You should have two separated front parts and two separated back parts
2. Sew the two front pieces together
3. Sew the top of the front and back. Double fold the fabric 2 cm and sew.
4. Sew the edges of the back and front. Double fold the fabric 1 cm and sew
5. Optional: Press the pockets edges, 1 cm bottom and sides and 2 cm at the top
6. Optional: After sewing the top of the pocket you can sew the front pocket on the front of the jumpsuit at 11 cm from the middle. Or you can find the middle of the pocket and match it to the middle of the jumpsuit.
7. Sew the back and front together on the sides and on the inside of the leg
8. Sew the hem. Double fold the fabric and sew. I made mine 4 cm wide.
9. Create the straps and sew them. I made the front strap 18 cm long and 2,5 cm wide. The back strap of 67 cm long and 4 cm wide
10. Optional : Sew the side pocket. You can sew this pocket either on the front or on the side as you like.
