I begin to say that I love to sew and make cloths, but I can sew other things.
I guess you are wandering how did I learn. Well, my journey starts since I was little and I was playing whit my grandmother sewing machine. I’m kidding I did not learn how to sew then but I have always had an inclination to it. When I grew older I started to make clothes for myself, sewed by hand (my grand mother sewing machine did not work anymore)
After graduating I got a job and put aside my passion, but after several years I wandered what if I start making clothes again. I said to myself that I should take up a class or something because I wanted to level up my passion. Short time after having this in mind, I won a course of pattern making where I learned how to actually make clothes.
After finishing the course I knew how to make the pattern of a garment but the question was, how would I sew it. So I bought a sewing machine and a serger and other tools to make my journey easier and started watching videos, reading articles and after a while I got the hang of it. I started making myself clothes, dresses, pants. After I have seen that it was going pretty well I said to myself that I need a bigger challenge. My weeding was approaching so I’ve made my weeding dresses. I thought if I will do this, I can do anything. And I made it 🙂 (you can see some pictures here https://mari.thems.ro/vineyard-weeding/)
